- Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Kawran Bazar → Track-side Market → Kamalapur Railway Station
The tour begins before sunrise with photography at Kawran Bazar, capturing wholesale market life, workers carrying produce, and dramatic morning light. We then explore the track-side market where daily commerce unfolds beside active rail lines. The day concludes at Kamalapur Railway Station, focusing on trains, crowds, window portraits, and layered human interactions. Afternoon return to hotel for rest.
Day 2 — Buriganga River → Floating Hotel → Boat Crossing → Shipyard
Early morning photography at Sadarghat reveals Dhaka’s intense river life with boats, passengers, reflections, and chaos. We document life inside a floating hotel before crossing the river by boat to a massive open-air shipyard. Here, sparks, metal, labor, and scale create powerful industrial storytelling frames. Return to hotel in the evening.
Day 3 — Flight to Cox’s Bazar → Dry-Fish Village → Marine Drive → Sunset
Morning flight to Cox’s Bazar followed by photography at a major dry-fish processing village, capturing textures, patterns, and labor. In the afternoon, we move to Marine Drive to photograph fishing boats, seascapes, and coastal life, ending the day with a dramatic sunset over the Bay of Bengal. Overnight in Cox’s Bazar.
Day 4 — Fishery Ghat → Maheshkhali Island (Salt Fields, Shooting Spot & Temple)
At dawn, we photograph Cox’s Bazar Fishery Ghat as boats unload fresh catch in high-energy scenes. We then travel to Maheshkhali Island to document salt fields, workers, reflective landscapes, cinematic shooting locations, and a serene local temple, blending industry, culture, and environment. Return to Cox’s Bazar for overnight stay.
Day 5 — Flight Cox’s Bazar → Dhaka → Coal Loading Zone → Plastic Recycling Factory
After flying back to Dhaka, we photograph one of the city’s heaviest labor zones near Gabtoli Bridge, focusing on coal, sand, and stone workers. The day continues inside a plastic recycling factory, documenting sorting, washing, shredding, and harsh working conditions. Evening rest at hotel.
Day 6 — Flight Dhaka → Barisal → Manta (Water-Tribal) Community
Morning flight to Barisal followed by an immersive visit to the Manta water-tribal community. Photography focuses on boat-based living, fishing preparation, net making, children at play, and intimate family portraits, capturing a rarely seen river-dependent lifestyle. Overnight in Barisal.
Day 7 — Flight Barisal → Dhaka → Aminbazar Brick Kilns
After returning to Dhaka, the final day is spent at Aminbazar brick kilns, photographing clay shaping, geometric brick patterns, smoke-filled kilns, and workers carrying bricks under dramatic light. The tour concludes after this final documentary session.
